Girls Can Code with its partner AddictLab organize a technology and sustainability camp at the School in Cham (ZG).
4 classes of kids of grades 3, 5 and 6 will experience several kinds of advanced technologies, from robots to drones to augmented reality.
The kids will need to use fantasy and innovation to save our planet in a tricky challenge. They would need to use several skills, from programming to building and fast flying. Augmented reality will support them discover the various hidden challenges and succeed in their mission.
Mission
Our planet is in danger: pollution, climate challenges, natural resources exploitation, health threats, wars, social discrimination and more. Technology can help mitigate some of the current issues and make a difference.
As part of this adventure, our robot friends, ATLAS, AIRBLOCK, SPHERO, TYMIO, MicroBit and others, will help us save the planet. We would need to program, work with fantasy, build new tools and work with Augmented Reality to discover hidden traps.
